    Hello Office Hometown Med NP,

Good day! Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are receiving all new emails in the "Other" folder instead of the "Focused" inbox. Let's work together to resolve this issue. We appreciate your effort in identifying this issue and seeking a solution. It's important to ensure that your emails are organized in a way that helps you manage them effectively.

To address this issue, may I know if this is happening to mail from all senders or a particular sender? In the meantime, you can try to turn Focused inbox off and on again in your Outlook. Here are the steps you can follow:

    • Open Outlook.

    • Select View > View Settings Settings icon
    • In Mail > Layout, select the account you want to apply the settings to.
      • To turn it off - Select the option Don't sort my messages >Save >Close outlook.
    • Open outlook >Settings >To turn it on again - Select the option Sort messages into Focused and Other >Save >Close outlook.

When Focused Inbox is turned on, Focused and Other tabs display at the top of your mailbox. You’ll be informed about email flowing to Other, and you can switch between tabs any time to take a quick look.

If you want to move specific emails from the "Other" folder to the "Focused" inbox:

    • Right-click on the email in the "Other" folder.
    • Select Move to Focused or Always Move to Focused for similar emails in the future.

Adjust Focused Inbox Settings in Outlook on the Web

    1. Sign in to Outlook on the Web.
    2. Click on the Settings (gear icon) in the upper right corner.
    3. Under Mail, select Layout.
    4. Choose Focused Inbox and ensure it is turned on.
    5. To move emails:
      • Right-click on the email in the "Other" folder.
      • Select Move to Focused inbox or Always move to Focused inbox for similar emails.

    Move Emails Manually:

    • In your "Other" folder, right-click on any email you want to move to the "Focused" Inbox.
    • Select Move to Focused.
    • You can also choose Always Move to Focused to ensure future emails from that sender go to the Focused Inbox.

Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

    Thank you for your patience.

Looking forward to hearing from you and having a nice day!!
