    Dear david l_825

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for your feedback on the rejection of sending emails with attachments to your own email address. In order to help you troubleshoot and solve the problem more accurately, we also need to know the following specific information:

    1. What is the suffix of your email account? Emails with different suffixes (such as @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or corporate custom domain suffixes, etc.) may have different rules and restrictions for sending and receiving emails.
    2. In which software did you send the email with attachments? Is it New Outlook, Classic Outlook, Outlook Web, or other software? Because different software platforms may have differences in interacting with the mail server and processing attachments, this is very important for locating the problem.
    3. Did you receive a bounce email when you mentioned being rejected? If you did receive a bounce email, please provide the specific bounce content. The bounced email often contains very important information, such as whether the email failed to be sent because the attachment size exceeded the limit, security risks were detected, or other failures of the mailbox server. These key clues can help us find a solution more quickly.
    4. Have you tried to send an email without an attachment? See if it can be sent normally in this case. In addition, you can also try to compress the attachment to reduce the size of the attachment, or change different types of attachments (such as changing from document attachments to image attachments, etc.), and then send the email again to see if it can be sent successfully. Through such tests, we can determine whether it is the factors of the attachment itself (such as attachment size, format, etc.) that cause the email to be rejected, or whether there are other deeper problems.

I hope you can help provide the above detailed information so that we can more effectively assist you in solving the problem of email rejection.

Thank you again for your patience and cooperation!
