before i started downloading, it says like this picture below.
having trouble installing SQL Server

im having a trouble while im installing sql server.

Please check if Microsoft SQL Server folder is compressed, if it is then Uncompressing it as Leon mentioned.
If you got the same error then try to change the directory installation to any directory which is not compressed . Then please share us the result.

You have a failed SQL server installation. Failed installation will also create this folder. Please check if you have the folder in your environment.
If the Microsoft SQL Server folder is not created, please try to change the directory installation to any directory which is not compressed .

2021-07-10T11:44:19.34+00:00 finally i can fix it. i missed a Mircosoft SQL Server folder that still is compressed inside Program File folder, so i uncompress it. Problem solved. Thanks for helping me the whole time.

As the error message states, are you using a compressed drive?
