Xamarin Hot Reload no longer works

HI there.
Hot reload stopped working for my project. I have tried on both iOS and Android, but changes is no longer deployed to my devices.
I have ensured that the option 'Enable XAML Hot Reload' has been ticked.
This worked fine a few days ago but now it does not.
Version of visual studio: 16.10.3
As a sidenote - and mabye related?
I can no longer deploy a new build to my android device i 'Use fast deployment' is ticked. I have to disable the setting and re-enable it when deploying subsequent codechanges.

2021-07-09T06:00:48.543+00:00 @rasmus brønd Try to check the "Apply XAML Hot Reload on document save" checkbox in Tools > Options > Debugging > Hot Reload or select the hot reload mode "Full page". Now modifty the xaml and press "ctrl+s" to save it.
