My corporate common mailbox has an issue that started recently.

After I send out an email from the common mailbox, users who select "reply" is shown my personal work email address instead of replying the common email.

There's no auto reply or rule turned on for my personal and common mailbox

    Hi Raeeeeel,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, you sent an email from the shared (common) mailbox, but when the recipient replied to the email, it showed your work email address instead of the common.

Could you please check if you are assigned Send As permission for the mailbox and confirm the From address is set to the common mailbox.

    1. Verify Send As Permissions: Make sure you have the correct “Send As” permissions for the common mailbox. If these permissions are not set correctly, replies might default to your personal email.
    2. Check the “From” Address: Ensure that when you send an email from the common mailbox, the “From” address is set to the common mailbox and not your personal work email. Sometimes, email clients default to the personal email address.
    3. Please refer to this article how to check and update the permission Shared mailboxes in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn

Looking forward to your response. Have a nice day. 😊

    Sincerely,

    Luckie Shi | Community Moderator.
