Hi, I recently bought a "AVITA Magus II 10.1" HD Tablet with Detachable Keyboard, Windows 10, Intel Processor, 4GB Ram & 64GB Storage" from Amazon, Amazon.com : AVITA Magus II 10.1" HD Tablet with Detachable Keyboard, Windows 10, Intel Processor, 4GB Ram & 64GB Storage (Green) : Computers & Accessories. I was trying to attach my Xbox 360 Kinect sensor to this tablet, but I am having an issue after I connect the adapter cable that would allow the Kinect sensor to connect to a USB on a Windows device. I have my original Xbox 360 Kinect sensor model #1473, and using adapter Model #SND-3601. I have updated windows fully, and have all the installed tool kits to get the Kinect recognized on the tablet.
The first problem I have is when the adapted gets plugged into the tablet, the mouse for the tablet freezes on the screen or moves very slowly, forcing me to use the touchscreen on the tablet instead of the connected mouse. Once I connect the Kinect sensor, the mouse just starts going all over the screen "click happy", where I can't even see the pointer anymore. In order to do any action on the tablet, I would have to leave my finger on touchscreen spot I want for a few seconds, or double tap. But menus or applications won't stay on top always. If I try and open the Kinect sensor tool kit for 1.8, and click run, the video screens for the kinect are visible, but won't remain as the top most screen to view or do anything. The moment I hit run, it is like the mouse or touchscreen gets possessed. The mouse pointer disappears completely, and is opening Edge, then clock opens, then something else on the screen... goes non-stop. I had the onscreen keyboard open to see if it was doing anything there, and it seemed to be. I saw it start clicking the spacebar on there like 4x, then jump to another key, then open a window, then the onscreen keyboard switched to the emoticons. Only way I could get it to stop, unplugging the USB connection. Any help would be great.
