Hi.
According to documentation, I was able to find, when I enable MFA for Global Admins on Azure, the user should get to the "additional verification page" however, this does not happen. When I try to log in I get requested to enter a code. MFA was never configured for this account in the past, so what code should I provide?

Sorry for the late response, I was on sick leave, but I'm feeling fine now.
Thank you for your responses, I tried everything, but the only solution was to create another Global Admin to reset the MFA for my own account.

If your users aren't prompted for the additional verification page, you should be able to set up additional verification methods by going to the Additional security verification page or by going to aka.ms/mfasetup

Set up an authenticator app, office phone, or mobile device as your two-factor verification method

If I click on the links you provided (Additional security verification page or aka.ms/mfasetup) I immediately get to a page where it says I need to enter a security code in:
I have never configured this before, and I can log in anywhere without 2FA, but somehow it thinks I already have this setup.

This is definitely weird that you're running into the code page when you haven't set up MFA with the Authenticator App previously. Can you try Requiring the user to re-register for MFA, to see if this helps resolve your issue.
If this doesn't help resolve your issue, you can also try following the links within the MS Authenticator FAQ - Lost device links, to try and remove the app from your account.

However, my account page looks a bit different and do not give me the option to re-register MFA.

There are a few more troubleshooting steps we can try to see if this will resolve your issue. Otherwise, I can enabled your subscription for a free technical support request so our support team can take a closer look into your environment and issue.
MFA Service Settings: Using the MFA service settings you can try to give your user(s), more methods to verify with, for example - call to phone, text, etc.
MSOnline: Using MSOnline we can try to Resets the strong authentication method of the user by using their user principal name.
