Outlook isn't letting me resize an image. Used to click on the pasted image and drag the corner to size. I am also not able to add gif's when replying to my emails on my android. Why make updates that make things more difficult?

Hello Mark Anzick,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, I understand that you are having trouble Outlook isn't letting resize an image. Used to click on the pasted image and drag the corner to size and also not able to add gif's when replying to your emails on android.

Resizing Images in Outlook, I have also checked it from my end, and I found the same as you "Used to click on the pasted image and drag the corner to size" and this is the way till now. Hope this complex way to Resizing Images in Outlook will be update in future.

Secondly, as per my general understanding, Adding GIFs on Android currently doesn’t support adding GIFs directly when replying to emails.

I do understand your need for this, and we do apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements. However, thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will surely raise your concerns to our Product Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates.

In the meantime, please provide feedback on this feature request by creating a new post in the Feedback Portal at Outlook · Community (microsoft.com), Microsoft is committed to enhancing the customer experience by continually examining suggestions to include in the design and development of future product upgrades based on your suggestions.

Sincerely

Nafis Iqbal Shuvo
