Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Outlook in Microsoft Edge?

Hi,

While operating someone computer, I found Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. in Programs and Features.

At the time of uninstallation, it says, Remove ‘Word’ from Microsoft Edge?

Same message for Excel, Outlook, etc. I have seen it first time.

Please let us know about it. Moreover, let us know, how to install them back?

    This is a feature called Install a website as application.
    In general you will visit a website in the Microsoft Edge and go to ...->Apps->Install this site as an app.
    The user probably have been using the Microsoft Account and there are web apps for each of these products and the user install them one by one this way.
    It is not the same as installing application but it is a way to improve the user experience while using favorite websites.
    You could do it for most of the websites.

    As far as I know, after a clean install to windows 11, it originally carries office(365?), and if you do not have a subscription under your Microsoft Account to activate and
    then download the full version of office. you can still use the function in office, while those applets: words, outlook, excel, power share are integrated with Microsoft Edge and with limited functions. especially, you can't use the apps on Microsoft Edge to open a file from local disk but from one drive.

    Actually, you do not need to install it back, you can directly use the web office by visiting https://www.office.com/

    here is the location on <Microsoft Edge> if you want to add it back, but it makes no difference.

    Well, I see you have Office 2016 Pro, It maybe easy-confused with purchased office and free office, I suggest you create a shortcut on desktop of office 2016 pro
