I accidentally accepted an authorization code from the authenticator and allowed someone from Vietnam to access my email, now my email is compromised what can I do? I changed my email passwords, is this enough, or do I need to do more?

    Hi, MK1958

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Sorry to learn that your account has been hacked, I understand how you feel.

According to your description, you have changed your account password, you can also add double authentication to protect your account. How to use two-step verification with your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

In addition, you can temporarily change your login alias, which will also prevent these brute force attacks.

An alias is another e-mail address associated with your Outlook account. You can use an alias to log in to your Outlook.com account - using the same password, logging in to the same email address, but with a new email address. Only the way you log into your account will change.

The above information can be found at Add or remove an email alias in Outlook.com - Microsoft Support

If you change your login alias, the compromised information will no longer be relevant, hackers will not know the new email address you logged into, and you will no longer receive login attempts. You can create a new email address that is only used to access Outlook and not other websites, or you can use an existing email address. To get started, do the following:
