Outlook inbox default view

I accidentally clicked randomly on the outlook inbox screen & it changed. I have googled how to get it back and looked at a dozen answers but all my settings are either already on the suggested ones or the suggested setting doesn't appear on my screen - like "reset view" under view settings.

This is how it used to look and how I want it to look.

This is how it looks now.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    According to your description, your misuse within the new version of Outlook has resulted in a change in layout, and now you need to reset to the default layout of the new version of Outlook right?

    You need to reset the layout of Outlook New to the default layout, but you need to reset the layout back to the state which has not been modified, you need to execute the reset of outlook New program, you can follow the process below:

    1. Click Start > Settings at the bottom of Windows.
    2. Click on Applications > Installed Applications.
    3. In the search box above, type in and open Outlook (New), click on the right side of the program “... Click “...” on the right side of the program, select Advanced Options, enter, find and click Reset, after finishing, re-open Outlook (New), the layout will be changed back to the default state.
