trying to log into my security dashboard of Microsoft account, however I'm stopped at the Verification through SMS Pop-Up which asks to enter last 4-digits of the phone number. I do that exactly as asked but Never get any code to proceed... There seems to be no other way. Alternate e-mail is also not registered. I don't know why I am not receiving the SMS code on my phone ???

    Dear Sualeh Qayyum

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community

I realized that you are not able to complete the verification through your mobile number while logging in to your Microsoft account and your phone is not receiving the SMS verification code.

I understand your dilemma, and I understand that you would like to restore access to your Microsoft account.

If you cannot receive the verification text message on your phone, it may be related to the network environment of the device that sends the mobile verification code, you can try the following methods:

1 Use mobile data or Wi-Fi.

You can try using data or other WiFi to access the mobile network for verification text messages.

    1. Replace the SIM card with a cellular access.

You can try using a family member's or friend's phone and connecting the phone's SIM card to see if you receive a verification text message.

    1. Change a network, turn on or off the third-party proxy software (VPN), and try to get the verification text message

If you still can't pass the verification by the above methods. you can contact one of our online agents to check the status of your account for you. As the community forum is a public community, we do not have direct access to any user's account information in order to protect their private information, so I can't check your account for you directly, for which I apologize, but I can point you in the right direction, the online agent holds more permissions, information, and expertise than the community, and therefore can handle your issue faster and more efficiently.
