Can anyone give a simple answer that tells me which USB connector I can buy to attach the Keyboard please? If there is none (aside from that being an awful waste, terrible for the enviornment and a terrible customer experience) than please just tell me there s none. Every post I read has a different answer but none tell me what USB connector I can buy that will work. Thank you!

They make the USB stick out the side of your keyboard on purpose so it's easy to dislodge and break. Never buying another Microsoft Keyboard or mouse ever again.

Looks like you can't replace just the dongle.

After this experience, I vowed not to but any piece of MS hardware. I will definitely discourage anyone from buying it. If you sell a product with that price tag, at least be decent and stand by your product and its users.
