Hi, I have a Contacts subfolder in Outlook full of contacts that I imported from .csv, that I want to put in a contact group…but when I click on Address Book - Add Members and go to that contacts subfolder, it doesn’t show the contacts, what am I doing wrong? Is there another way? We use M365.

    Dear reditguy

Good day! Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community. We'll be happy to help!

First of all, we regret for the inconvenience caused to your work. Based on your description, I have a general understanding of your question, actually I think you don't need to move your contacts from subfolders to contact group, you can create a create a new contact group from a csv file directly by opening the CSV file that you will create a contact group from in Excel workbook, and follow these steps:

    1. Select the data, and press Ctrl + C keys together to copy it.
    2. Shift to the People (or Contacts) view in Outlook and click Home > New Contact Group to create a new contact group.
    3. Contact Group window will open, please click Contact Group > Add Members > From Outlook Contacts.
    4. In the popping out Select Members dialog box, put the cursor in the Members box and press Ctrl + V keys simultaneously to paste the Excel data, and then click the OK button.
    5. Return to the Contact Group window then type a name for the new contact group in the Name box, and then click Contact Group > Save & Close button.

Meanwhile, if you still need further help or I misunderstood your meaning, please kindly correct me and share more details with me so that I can do more research and tests, thanks.

Thank you in advance for your understanding. Your patience and cooperation will be highly appreciated. I hope for all the best!

    Sincerely
