How does a meeting organizer rsvp for attendees to their meeting in new outlook?

As the meeting organizer, I do not see an option to rsvp for attendees in the new outlook. In the old outlook, a meeting organizer could RSVP on an attendees behalf which was helpful for tracking attendance. Is this no longer an option?

    Dear Carin Armstrong,

    Good day.

After thorough research and consulting, it’s been concluded that In the new Outlook, the ability for meeting organizers to RSVP on behalf of attendees has been changed. Now, attendees are expected to RSVP themselves, especially with the introduction of hybrid meeting options. This means attendees can specify if they will attend in person or virtually.

However, as an organizer, you can still track responses in the tracking pane, which shows each person’s attendance preference along with their response

Meeting organisers will be able to request in-person attendance via a new “in-person event” toggle:

While responding (RSVP) to in-person meeting invites, attendees will be able to confirm whether they can participate in-person or only participate online.

We apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements; however, thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will surely raise you concerns to our Product Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates.
