SharePoint 2016 Audit Log report shows view for downloaded files also

It is similar to the below thread. In SharePoint 2016, If a user download a file, it shows as view instead of download.
Is there a way to show it as download instead of view as the Event Column ?

    Per my knowledge, there is no option to show the download event as "Download" instead of "View" in the Event column.

    By design, "View/Download/Open" is displayed as a same "View" event on the audit log report.
