Microsoft not sending verification code via SMS to my number

Hello,

Please, how can I get access to my account? I provide my password, and supposedly a code is sent via SMS, but I don't receive it. Nothing helps, and I don't know what to do anymore. I added an alternate email, but it says that the alternate email will be added within 30 days, and I can't cancel this either because everywhere I need the SMS code

    Hi, Dawid47!

Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community.  I realize that you've encountered a problem with < Unable to receive verification code> and I understand how you feel.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Microsoft account. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check Your Phone Settings: Ensure your phone isn't blocking messages from unknown numbers or Microsoft.
    2. Resend the Code: Sometimes there's a delay, so try resending the verification code after a few minutes.
    3. Network Issues: Make sure your phone has a strong signal or try switching to a different network if possible.
    4. Contact Your Mobile Carrier: Sometimes, carriers block certain messages. Contact your carrier to ensure they aren't blocking messages from Microsoft.
    5. Microsoft Authenticator App: If you can access your account settings, consider setting up the Microsoft Authenticator app for future logins. This can sometimes bypass SMS issues.
    6. Microsoft Account Recovery: Use the account recovery form on the Microsoft website. You'll need to provide as much information as possible about your account to verify your identity. Recover your account (live.com)
    7. Support Chat: Reach out to Microsoft Support through their live chat or support page. Explain your situation, and they might be able to expedite the process of adding your alternate email. Contact Us - Microsoft Support

Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.

    Best Regards,
