Hosting Private Pip Packages Using Azure Artifacts

I have seen some articles which say that Pip packages can be hosted on Azure Artifacts, eg:

https://zerowithdot.com/private-pip-azure/

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/artifacts/quickstarts/python-packages?view=azure-devops

the first, from Mar 2019 - says that this feature is in preview mode (and as of Mar 2019) it doesn't really work properly.

is this feature now in a more robust/usable state - for hosting of private packages to be used with Pip ?

@AJG Thanks for reaching out. Azure DevOps and its services are not yet supported on the Microsoft Q&A platform.

Requesting you to post your query on Developer Community instead, where the Azure DevOps Team and community are active and answering questions.
