Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V no longer work in "old" or new Outlook

I use Calendar to track my time on different projects. I always used to copy events, with categories, to new days in the same calendar. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V no longer work in "old" or new Oulook. Is this "feature" coming back or am I going to have to use Google Calendar?

    Hi Allison-H,

Yes I have resolved the issue it is definitely with NEW Outlook calendar. "Old" Outlook calendar works fine once I had disabled some of the COM Add-ins that were conflicting. NEW Outlook will never work in the way I want it to, therefore when IT force the change over to NEW Outlook I will be using my phone and a different calendar app. so Outlook will just be an email program for me. Meetings will go in but I will never be able to use Calendar as a past, present and future project time recording facility. Shame on Microsoft for withdrawing another useful feature in their software.

Just in case you need it there is a registry key to enable copying meetings in classic Outlook, Outlook blocks copying meetings with “Copying meetings is not supported.” - Microsoft Support.

On new Outlook to copy an event you need to right click on the event and click Duplicate Event. On the calendar dropdown pick the calendar you want it duplicated to.
