Outlook Scheduling Poll Broken

Hi there,

I created a scheduling poll in Outlook with several date and time options. When I went to check on the status of the poll, however, all of the dates and times changed to December 31st at 11:59pm. I can see which dates/times each individual voted for/against, but do not know what the actual date/time is since they all say 12/31 11:59pm. Does anyone have experience with this issue and know of a solution?

Thank you

Were you ever able to get this resolved? Everyone at my organization is running into this issue (and also same time zones/consistent across devices), and this is the only thing I was able to find when researching a solution.

Thank you for your reply, Bertrand.

My answers to your questions are as follows:

    1. While I cannot confirm the time zone of each individual's calendar, we all work within the same time zone so it is reasonable to assume they are set correctly.
    2. The issue is consistent across all browsers and devices. It also appears when opening the poll on other user's computers.
    3. All calendars included were specific to the individual.

This issue began after I added two individuals to the initial poll; however, they were both able to see the correct dates/times so the issue must have started after they voted.

    I appreciate your help.

    Hello Matthew_915

Good day and thanks for reaching out.

I can see how this issue would be really confusing and time-consuming to resolve, especially if you have gone through the effort of setting up the poll and are relying on it to plan your meeting effectively. Please keep in mind, If the poll was created with a specific time zone in mind and participants are in different time zones, the times displayed could shift. This often happens when the time zone setting in the Outlook poll doesn’t match the time zone settings in the participants’ calendars or email clients.

However, given that there are several factors to consider like Time zone mismatches, Calendar sync issues and Server-side error, we need more information on the following to narrow down the issue and better assist you.

    1. Have all participants confirmed that their Outlook clients are set to the correct time zone on their end?
    2. Is the issue consistent on the web, the desktop app, or mobile? Have you tried checking the poll status across different devices?
    3. Were you working in a corporate environment where there may be shared calendars or custom time zone settings that could affect the poll?

Kindly let me know your responses to the above questions, and feel free to share any other details you think might help us resolve the issue. I look forward to your reply and am here to assist further. Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Thanks for your valuable time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Bertrand | Microsoft Community Moderator
