Something has changed with sharepoint choice column. I have document libraries with choice columns for "Department" and "Status". The default for these is "blank".
I open the documents and then open the information panel and I amend these columns in this view. When I used the arrow to go to the next document the choice columns copy the value from the previous document details. This is very annoying as I used to trigger flows when these columns updated. I have had to cancel these flows as they were being triggered incorrectly due to the copying of the column value.
Is there a way to stop this from happening?

No I have not been able to find out how to open a service request. Can you point me in the right direction.

I can reproduce this issue in my SharePoint Online document library. It may be caused by the browser cache.
