    Hello Görkem Gürel1

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are unable to obtain SMS verification codes through your mobile phone during the process of resetting your account password, and it displays "Verification method limit reached".

I have conducted some tests on this situation. For the case where the same account has multiple verification methods. There is a certain limit on the number of times you can apply for verification when resetting the password of an account. After applying for verification codes multiple times, if one of them reaches the verification limit, the other verification methods will also be restricted.

For this reason, it is recommended that you wait 24-48 hours before trying again.

I've noticed suspicious activity on your account. Your account may have become the target of login attempts, and you are facing a large number of unusual logins. You can check the account activity history below. Check recent sign-in activity for your Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

Adding a alias to your account and removing access to the original alias is a good way to handle a large number of unknown login attempts.

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account.
    2. Select Your Information, and on the Account Information tab, select Edit Account Information.
    3. Select Add email.
    4. You can create a new @outlook.com email address and set it as your primary alias.
    5. Then, on the previous page**, select Change Sign-in Preferences**. After you change your original nickname to a new primary nickname, you can deselect your original nickname as a sign-in option.

When you revoke an alias as a sign-in option, if someone tries to sign in with the alias, the message "This username has been disabled for sign-in" appears. Therefore, they cannot attempt to log in with this alias.

More importantly, this will only affect your login and not your receipt of the email. This process is reversible. After a while, you can choose to reset your nickname. Maybe the hacker loses interest in your account after realizing that you can't access it for a while.

**Reminder: Don't delete an alias unless you no longer need it.**As with closing an account, a deleted Microsoft domain alias can't be recovered and can't be used to send or receive email.

Feel free to share the results. I look forward to his answer.
