How do I disable "Draft With Copilot" in new outlook.

I find the "Draft with copilot" in my compose area of an email super-annoying and distracting. It ruins the entire outlook experience for me. How do I disable it?

Good response but YES please give feedback to the development team that human beings (you know, we the users and your customers) want SOME autonomy in our lives and the tools we use. FORCING COPILOT and not providing an option to work without it is a substandard corporate position.

I too would the option to turn off the Copilot auto prompt when drafting an email. I too find it distracting and impacts my "train of thought" when drafting an email.

It's annoying, distracting and takes up unnecessary screen space. Having a Copilot button in my ribbon is more than enough. I do NOT want to summarise every message I see. Not now. Not likely ever, especially while my customers state "No AI summaries in your responses".

Summarisation is a useful tool when coming to a thread for the first time, or after a long break. Not when working in a tight thread, which is where I spend my day.

Please send this inane idea to the same place that Clippy deservedly got sent to, and let us control it.

Microsoft, please provide an option to disable copilot in New Outlook, and all other apps, as soon as possible. AI is great for some applications. Forcing your customers to use it in all applications is not great, and is actually very frustrating.

I am in 100% agreement.

Additionally, I want to shut off the 'draft with Copilot' icon that appears and constantly remains in the left margin of Word document.

Put the drafting help on the ribbon where the thesaurus and spellchecker are located.

Stay out of my white space. You're not welcome there.
