Access 2016 report truncated in Print Preview

Hi all,

Our agency is using Access 2016 on a server with no printers attached. When a report is displayed in Print Preview mode, the report is truncated on the right. If the same report is displayed in Access on a computer with printers defined, it is OK. When the report is exported to Word rich text format, it is also OK (no truncation).

Our users in a remote office need to use Access on this server for performance reasons, and the server admins don't want to attach any printers to the server for security reasons.

Is there any setting to change, either in Access or the report object, to correct this problem?

Thanks,
Eric Lindberg

Access bases report generation on your printer. The only thing you could do would be to change the margins to suit the server default Windows printer settings until they aren't truncated, but this will then impact your other users.

Or create a 2nd version of the report with the margins change to suit the server. This way current users aren't impacted.

Could the server admins be persuaded to install a pdf printer to the server?
