How to stop browser from flickering

I designed my app using VS2019, a one-pager.
When I click on various buttons in VS2019, there's no visible flickering or refresh on the screen.
However, when I publish and run it on IIS, the same instructions cause the browser screen to flicker, or refresh.
Is that something which can be fixed?
