I was having the same issue. This worked for me as well. I was not subscribed to the missing email folder. I right clicked on In Box and then clicked on "IMAP Folders..., Clicked on the Query button which populated the Subscribed folders and the one I was missing was not listed. I clicked on the All tab and was able to locate the missing folder. It did not have the little yellow folder icon next to it. I click on it to select it then clicked the Subscribe button and this did the trick. The missing folder is no longer missing. Hope this helps someone else too!
New Outlook IMAP Sync Issue (Comcast.net) SOLVED
The new Outlook (desktop - Windows 10 and 11) stopped syncing comcast.net (via IMAP) email a couple of days ago. Deleting, reinstalling, changing ports, SSL choices, everything did not work, on 3 different computers. 2-W10, 1-W11.
On O365 Outlook, everything worked fine. Synced just like it should on all 3 computers.
After searching around, a website suggested emptying the RoamCache folder (C:\Users...\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache).
After deleting all files in that folder, it started working again - on all 3 computers.

2025-02-10T14:11:31+00:00 And it went down again. Then back up again. Then down again. Then back up one hour ago, now down again. O365 Outlook works fine. That's how I know the new desktop Outlook is not working. I'm thinking its something with comcast servers now...

2025-02-11T01:53:34+00:00 Hello, I am wondering if you found an solution. My new outlook desktop stopped working on 2/5/25 and I was working on correcting it today. I deleted several times and re-added the comcast account and it will not sync. It works on my iphone but not on my computer. I thought that I may need to delete some mail items in my inbox thinking it reached a max limit but in year's past they would warn you that you reached that max limit. I deleted a lot so I don't think that is the issue any longer. I tried to find the roamcache folder but could not locate it on my computer (even after showing hidden files). Let me know if you or anyone else in the community has suggestions. Thank you.

2025-02-11T09:04:36+00:00 Nothing yet. I keep checking and comparing against O365 Outlook, but no joy. Its still happening on all 3 computers, but not Iphone (O365 Outlook, not Imail). Like you it started around the first of February. Had to be an update of some kind, some where.

2025-02-11T21:38:28+00:00 Same issue for me. The last e-mail I received was on 02/02/2025. So frustrating.
