Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy

Please do not post your personal information on public platforms, as it may attract hackers’ attention.
I understand that your account is locked. I completely understand how frustrating this must be for you.
If the account is locked, it may indicate suspicious activity or a violation of Microsoft's terms of use.
Generally, there are two scenarios:
- When logging in, you are informed that the account is locked, but you are provided with the next step to receive a security code via your phone number to unlock the account.
- No unlock options are provided.
If you do not see the "Next" option, you will need to fill out the Microsoft Locked Account Review Form. To request that Microsoft review the reason your account was disabled and determine whether it may be reinstated, you must complete and submit the form.
Most Microsoft support agents don't have access to this form, so using it is the only way to have Microsoft review and reinstate your account.

If you want to communicate with real-time online chat support, you can follow these steps to contact them.
- Log in to the following website. Contact - Microsoft Support
(This requires you to log in to a personalMicrosoft account. If you don’t have one, you can create a temporary account.) - Select Microsoft 365 > get home support.
- In the question description box, type ‘MSA’ and click ‘Get Help’.
- Then tap Contact Supportin the bottom left corner.
- Choose from the following categories: Other Products, Manage account security.
- Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser.
TIPS: Please contact support during local working hours on weekdays, as chat does not work 24 hours a day.
