Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
Dear user
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
I understand your frustration with being blocked from creating an account. Unfortunately, Microsoft doesn't publish an exact timeframe, but the 24-48 hour window is generally accurate.
Please consider the following aspects so that you don't have trouble creating your account in the future:
1.Check your IP address:
Sometimes a shared or blacklisted IP address can trigger the security block. If you're on a VPN, try disconnecting. If you're on a shared network (like a library or school), this could also be the cause.
Also, if your IP address is being used to create an account in bulk, your IP address is likely to be restricted or blocked, so in this situation please switch to an alternative IP address, such as using your mobile data or something else.
2.Use a different browser or device:
Trying a different browser or device may sometimes help.
Some browsers or devices may also be flagged as a suspicious source and prevent you from creating your account.
If you've waited 48 hours and are still blocked, your best bet is to contact Microsoft Support directly. They might be able to provide more specific information about why you're being blocked and what you can do to resolve it.
