Hi,
we use RRAS server to connect users to LAN company network using VPN client on windows workstations.
For about a month now, VPN connections using SSTP are disconnected after 60 minutes. The RRAS server is Windows Server 2016. Until then, there was no problem with that.
In event log i see only this piece of information:

The user domain\user1 connected on port VPN1-63 on 7/14/2021 at 9:02 AM and disconnected on 7/14/2021 at 10:02 AM. The user was active for 60 minutes 3 seconds. 18125697 bytes were sent and 3311249 bytes were received. The reason for disconnecting was user request. The tunnel used was WAN Miniport (SSTP). The quarantine state was .

Can you help solve this issue?

    Hi ,

In order to narrow down the issue, would you please help collect the information below?

1.Did the current user exceed the maximum number of SSTP connection?

Based on the number of your VPN clients' connection, you can change the port number to 250 and then see if the issue is gone.

2.Did all the user disconnect VPN connections after 60 minutes? Or just some users?

3.Did you configure NPS to perform authentication?

4.Have you installed any third-party software in your environment?

    Best Regards,
    Candy
