Magnetic shapes in Visio 2019?

Hi, I have to make one long line of squares and rectangles. Their length is variable - the first shape may be 10 mm long, the second shape may be 11.63 mm long. I'm trying to create connection points at each corner of the shape, but they won't connect automatically when I try to match them side by side.

Example - 2 rectangles, both 11.48 mm long. The first ends at 11.48 mm, the second starts at 11.53 mm, due to reasons. The second one must start exactly in the same place as the first ends, i.e. 11.48 mm. There are too many shapes to be checked individually.

    Hi @Michał Berg ,
Could you provide a picture about your problem?
Are you looking for AutoConnet feature in Visio?

If yes, I suggest you go to View tab, in the Visual Aids group, make sure the AutoConnect is selected.

Then you can get this feature:
