Question about not receiving verification code from SMS

Hello, I have a very important question. Today, I wanted to redeem point from Microsoft Rewards to get a reward. However, to confirm my purchase, I have to verify by phone number. Since I didn't have it connected to my account yet, I wanted to go ahead and connect it today. It told me that Microsoft will send a SMS to my phone messages, so I clicked confirm. I waited for a bit, kept staying on my notifications tab, yet nothing was ever delivered. I have tried this like 5 times today, desperate to verify my phone number and have it attached to my account, so that I can get rewards from Microsoft Rewards. I'd really like some help as soon as possible, thank you.

Hi, thank you so much for the response. I have been following instructions you sent to me, however I am met with another issue. When I try to log in using the Authenticator app, I try to log in with my Microsoft account. It tells me it will send a code to my email, so I say confirm. Then it does the same problem I have with my phone, it refuses to send me a verification code to complete my log in. Is there any way to resolve this? It's very frustrating that I can't complete the rest of the steps because I am stuck on the step before enabling 2FA...
