Hi,

I have purchased a EV code signing certificate from Sectigo and I do not understand why ClickOnce install displayed as Unknown Publisher.

    Hi vivekverma-1220,
I guess the reason is the EV certificate.
And Adam Caviness has explain it in detail in this thread.
It is generally recommended to receive a certificate from a CA (such as a certificate supplier or a department within an enterprise), then the certificate can provide higher security for your users. It not only identifies the publisher of the signed software, but also verifies that identity by checking with the CA that signed it.
More detail please refer to this document.
    Best Regards,
    Daniel Zhang

I have the same question: Does clickonce support EV code signing? So far, I wasn't able to do it.
