Jagged fonts in Publisher when saved as JPEG

I've heard (and experienced) that Publisher causes rasterized fonts to print jagged or pixilated. Is there a solution for this? I use this program to design greeting and holiday cards, invitations and birth announcements, but the words always show up so jagged.

Is there a solution to this? I LOVE Publisher because it is easy to use and don't want to get into Adobe design programs if I don't have to.

If you save text as an image then you can indeed end up with the jaggies.

If you must convert the text to an image, try a *.png image. In my experience *.png and higher resolution *.tif images have less jaggies...
