Account recovery brick wall

Question

Hey,

I'm currently in the process of trying to recover one of my Hotmail account, yet I am having an issue once I fill out the Microsoft account recovery form and it is successful. At the screen where you are prompted "For security purposes you need to know the Microsoft account that you're trying to recover. Please enter it and click Next to continue" which I subsequently enter the account I'm trying to recover, but am only met with a "Your session has timed out. You can restart the session by signing out and signing back in".

Not quite sure about the session timing out as I am instantly responding to the recovery email when it comes in.

Any help is appreciated.

If an account access problem then also try resetting via the account recovery form
