General alignment: Interface mode vs Text mode

The General alignment default is Interface mode. If you switch to Text mode, all values in text boxes are left aligned in forms created in a blank form or created using the Split Form tool. If you later switch back to Interface mode, text boxes created in a blank form or created using the Split Form tool should have values left aligned for Text fields and right aligned for Number, Currency, and other data types. This is what happens if you create a form using the Form Design button, the Form Wizard, the Multiple Items tool, and the Datasheet tool. But for the Splt Form tool and in a blank form, all values continue to be left aligned. I can't find any Windows options that control this behavior. Is this a bug, or is there a form template or other option that I have to change to get fully switched back to Interface mode?

I can't find an option to change this either.  Is it a bug?  Well, I would think so.  Since split forms were new in 2007 (if my memory serves me)  Micorosft may not have gotten around to fixing it yet.  I'm not sure how you post a "bug" issue in Access.  And of course I'd wait to see if someone else has a solution.
