"Path does not exist" error msg. when I try to save.

I downloaded the 2010 version of Office b/c I received the same error msg when I tried to save in my 2007 version but new version won't save either.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

I don't think I could....it was a path thing. I have an Acer computer and it sent things to different places and we had to reroute the path. We did it with the help of technical support. Sorry

    Are you saying you saying you can;t save to My Documents either?  Are you the Administrator of that machine?

    There are three places for me to save under libraries -- my documents (on the D drive, DVD RW drive), the public folder (C drive), and a downloads folder (C drive).  The folder thing is admittedly new to me, but the public folder seemed like the logical choice. Regardless, it won't allow me to save to it.

    I tried to save to my C drive. I can save to a flashdrive but not the hard drive. I un/reinstalled it but I got the same message. Thanks.
