This is an add in and I can see it in the Word options section but I can get rid of it.  It states it is located in C:\users\Cheryl\Appdata\Roaming \Microsoft\Word\STARTUP\AVWiz12s.dotm but I can't find it.  What can I do?

So if you navigate to the folder described, you don't see the AVWiz12s.dotm?

Try going to Office button / Word Options button / Addins command. Look throught the list of apps/addins for something that looks related to "AV Wiz" the "12" could mean Office 2007. I haven't figured out how to use this list to disable an addin (maybe someone else can say). An alternative is you can download this applet: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/officeins.html

It allows you to control, ie disable office addins.

This error might also occur due to a corrupt template in the Word startup folder. Remove this template from the startup folder. The location where you would find this file is mentioned below.

    C:\Users<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Template.
