keeping text inside a decorative border automatically

I want to print text on blank greeting cards inside a decorative border automatically.  Once I place the border, I have to space bar the cursor inside it.  Setting margins also moves the border, so is there a way of placing the border and setting margins inside it.

Why not first place the text where you want it and then create the border around it. If you need space before and after add paragraph marks, select the first paragraph mark along with the text and then down to the last paragraph mark, next click Page Border button and then Border tab and create your border style. After creating border click on “Apply to:” drop down arrow and choose “Paragraph.” Inserting indents and tabs can be tricky so better to set tabs, etc. before you create the border.

You will need to set the distance from the text in the Border Options (but

31 pts is the most allowed).

Use the left and right indents of the paragraph (Format>Paragraph) to control where the text begins and ends.

Hope this helps.
