Is there a way to embed HTML code that is available for various Web 2.0 tools and widgets into a PowerPoint presentation? Not really talking about Flash or YouTube videos.  Other widgets similar to the ones that can be embedded on websites, blogs, wikis, etc.

Thanks

    Hi,

You cannot directly embed it within PowerPoint. But you could use a web browser control and display a web page containing those widgets. Caveat - Activex controls don't play in the PowerPoint viewer.

If you are interested, you can download my free Live Web add-in - http://skp.mvps.org/liveweb.htm which makes it easier to insert webpage into PowerPoint and refreshes content realtime during slideshow automatically.

How can I add my webpage control to PPT through .net programming rather than Powerpoint IDE?

    Thanks..
