This morning when I opened a Word document containing hyperlinks, they had all been converted into this format :

{HYPERLINK"http://www.webaddress.com"}  I cannot find a way to make them change back into links.  HELP!  I need to make a hot list for my students!

Thanks!

This is Word 2008 for MAC.  My OS is 10.5.8

Should be - I always find Daiya Mitchell's page a handy starting point for the Mac Word keystrokes for working with fields:

In Windows we would use the <ALT F9> shortcut keys to toggle display of field codes. We can also do it using Tools / Options / View tab / turn off the "Field Codes" option.

I'm not sure how that translates into "appleze".

Thanks!  This is part of the answer...on the extended Mac keyboard, you have to hold down option+F9 PLUS there is a function key between the qwerty keys and the numeric keypad labeled fn.  Hold down all three keys at once and PRESTO!

Thanks again to all who responded!
