select all function in Word Web App

I have found several editing functions except "Select All"  Guidance sought

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

On Windows you can select all in the Word Web App by holding the ctrl key and hitting the A button.  So ctrl+A.

    Hi nyhooligan49,

    I'm sorry, but I do not understand your comment above.  Spellcheck is only available in some languages.  I just tried English, and it works fine for me.  Was it a specific language that was failing for you?

    To change the spellcheck language of a document, hit ctrl+a to select all of the contents of that document and then click the bottom half of the "Spelling" button.  This should open a pop-out dialog and choose "Select Proofing Language".  This will open the Languages dialog, in the list select the language you'd like to be proofing in.
