Fixmapi not working

Nothing happens when I double click on the Fixmapi.exe

    I need to do the steps provided by QuickBooks.  However, when I double click on the fixmapi file, nothing happens

    Try to check if Outlook is the default email client, click on Start> Default Programs> Set Default Programs, choose Outlook and click on ‘Set this program as default”.

    Note: Check the steps provided by quick books (not recommended).

    Thank you for the reply.

    My issue initially started with trying to email from QuickBooks. It has worked for me before, now it tells me that it "....cannot send email to Outlook...".  The troubleshooting steps I did led me to run FIXMAPI. 

    I do not get any message.  Nothing happens at all.

    Do you have any issue with Outlook?

    Why are you trying to run fixmapi.exe? Do you get any specific error messages?
