Move objects with drag and drop objects with multi touch

HI there,

When I try and move any object (text box etc) using a multi touch trackpad (MacBook Air, Lion 10.7.2) PPT keeps asking me if I want to move the object to where I am trying to drop it.

Here's what I'm doing:

Select the object with one finger click

Move object by dragging 2nd finger

This seems to work fine within other apps.

Should I be doing something differently, or is there a setting I need to change on PPT?

Thanks

Hey TWHH,

I'm assuming you're performing the three-finger drag and not a two-finger drag. I'm not aware of a two-finger drag and when I tested on my machine, dragging two fingers only scrolls the page.

What version of Office for Mac 2011 are you using? You can check in PowerPoint by choosing PowerPoint > About PowerPoint from the menu bar. The latest version is 14.1.3.

If you're not running 14.1.3, you can get up-to-date by choosing Help > Check for Updates.
