Access 2003 vs 2007

I have on an older computer Access 2003 and have used the data base for keeping my reading library organized.  When my new computer came with Access 2007 no such data base is to be found.  The closest thing I find is a asset data base and that will not work.  The other on has book, author and other book details one can put in.  Any suggestions?

Thanks

Nope. I've got a database that I created in Access 2.0 and (after converting it to A97 a decade ago) it works fine in 2007.

Microsoft isn't perfect at backward compatibility, but in this case it's pretty durn good. In fact, if you create a .mdb file in 2007 it defaults to A2000 format.

Thank you for your reply.  Does it matter that this data base started out on Office 2000?

Simply copy your database that is in A2003 to your new computer. It will open and run in A2007.
