Double Click for animation?

I created a question and answer slides in PowerPoint 2010.  I assigned paths for the correct answer to move to fill in the blank and a line to draw through the incorrect answer if it was chosen.  The third slide I created requires a double click to initiate action.  How did I do that?

Hard to imagine without seeing it!

I would start with the "unfilled box" - make the fill 100% transparent instead of no fill.

Next give each word a with previous animation

In the animation Pane select both animation entries and use one of the drop arrows to set the Timing to trigger on click of (the transparent shape)

I have a sentence with two missing words needed to complete the sentence, each in it's separate space.  The two words are under the sentence among pair of other possible answers.  To activate the movement of these two words to their correct space, I assigned a custom path for one word with a "with previous" trigger.  The other word I assigned a custom path with a trigger of a click to an unfilled box covering the two words.  The idea was that when the box is clicked, both words will travel to their respective spots in the sentence.  All other animation on the page initiates with a single click except this array which requires a double click.  It can throw the instructor when this doesn't initiate as all the other animation.

You cannot assign a "run animation" action to an action button  as such!

You can use it as a trigger but it will work exactly the same as the shape you are clicking now.

In the animation pane - is there just one animation under the trigger?

Thank you for the link.  I have been assigning a custom path initiated with a click on an object.  Do I understand that I can assign a custom path through the Assign an Action?
