custom date format

I want to tweek the Day, date built in format to give me DAY mm/dd/yyyy. I can not figure out how to combine [$-F800]dddd, mmmm dd, yyyy and mm/dd/yyyy. How do I modify the [$-F800]dddd portion to reflect SUN, MON etc?

Hi,

For todays date 1/9/2011 a custom format of

dddd dd/mm/yyyy

returns

Thu 01/09/2100

If you want the full day use

ddddd dd/mm/yyyy
