Typinator or TypeIt4Me  Could do that if you have set up a rule to correct the word that has the accent.

Neither should have an affect, if set up correctly.

what do I mean rule. (or shortcut).

In TypeIt4Me I have set up a short cut to the word Alzheimer's  by typing Alz's  because I can't remember how to spell it.

In type it form you could actually type it wrong as it shows when printed the type  section for the proper word add the accent at the correct place.

Thanks for answering, but I didn't install anything. It just started to happen. First it started when i wrote emails on my gmail account, then when using word.

Have you installed any add-on software, like a keyboard enhancer, clipboard utility or typing aid?
