Hello all and thanks in advance.

I am trying to perform a very easy function and I just cannot seem to get this accomplished. I need to remove the ability for a user to refresh a pivot table by right-clicking the pivot and selectined "Refresh Data". I have looked online and can't find an example of my problem (could be serching incorrectly). Please advise if there is a simple way to do this for Excel 2003.

Regards.

Me.

    Hi ediardp,

I found this method on another post, but when i protect the sheet, I cannot dynamically change the pivot layout. Am I doing something wrong? This pivot functionality is a requirement of the report and limits the user.

    Please advise,

    Warm Regards,

    Me.
