My CD/DVD writer is e:

So the hyperlink start e:

If someone elses CD/DVD drive is labelled D:

The hyperlinks fail! How do I get around this?

Thanks for any help

Are you creating the index with in Word? That will not work as the dvd drive does not remain the same on all machine. Word would only recognise if the particular file is in the same drive.

You have to use the Burning software (Roxio, Nero) or check out for disc creating programs which would allow the discs to be created with Index.

You can also check if Windows media player has this option as disc can be created with the program. Check the windows forums for more answers on the same.
