Please can someone help. I am trying to m ake a template with a grid which will be used to record readings taken in the field. I have made a table and now I need to be able to put a row of numbers across the top and down the left side for the graph . At present the table will not let me put numbers outside it down the side.  I need two graphs (tables) side by side and I made 2 text boxes and aligned them side by side.  Maybe I should take the tables out of the text boxes but then everything flys about all over the page. Thanks

I will try that thanks, I had a look at doing it that way but I need the numbers on the line not in the middle of the box, I tried aligning them at the top and then formatting those cells without a border but it was still not quite right, I'll have another try and see if it will be acceptable for the purpose. THanks for your help

Why not use the first row and first column of the table for the numbers?
